CAN A BOUNTY HUNTER REALLY MAKE A LIVING?
In one bail bond investigation, when I calculated the investigative hours
up to the time of booking the bail fugitive in question, I made just over
$1,000.00 and hour on that particular case; however, the bail fugitive had
evaded prior bounty hunters by threatening to use a firearm and attempting
to use a vehicle, as a deadly weapon, against the aforementioned bounty
hunters. In short, I had to put all of my street proven skills into
action on the above case in order to go home safe and get paid.
The average person may not have the training and experience to deal with
the type of bail bond fugitive described above, and I cannot state for
certain that a (purely classroom based) bail enforcement seminar is
adequate for all the types of bail bond investigations one may encounter.
This is why I have incorporated bail tactical training for the private
citizen in addition to real-life street training that is available for
qualified persons who wish to become bounty hunters.
In essence, whether or not a new bounty hunter can really make a living by
hunting wanted felony or misdemeanor bail fugitives is a subjective
question with many factors that will collectively determine a proper
response.
A professional bail bond investigator can make the work look extremely
easy to new bounty hunters who are learning how to bounty hunt. What
people who have worked with me see as pick up support is only a very small
percentage of how I got to that point of that specific bail investigation.
Conversely, people who purchased the following had a much bigger picture
of the bail enforcement trade and appreciated the work I put into that
bail fugitive case.
“Modern Bounty Hunting: A Real-Life Guide For The Fugitive Recovery Agent”
contains a great deal of information on how to become a bounty hunter in
any state where bail enforcement is legal.
“Desktop Bounty Hunter” is a very technical work that explains how a
forfeited bail bond may be exonerated in open court. In short, a bounty
hunter can help a bail bond company owner by discovering procedural
technicalities that leads to the same results as actually arresting a
wanted bail bond fugitive. Either way, you get paid.
In “Proactive Bounty Work: Making Surveillance Obsolete,” I demonstrate
how I manage large case loads without sitting for hours or days in the
hope that a bail fugitive will suddenly appear. The information on this
DVD is critical towards keeping the cash flowing when working multiple
cases in multiple jurisdictions.
“Bail Enforcement Agents: Use Of Force” is where I and other veteran bail
enforcement agents cover the basics of what a new bounty hunter should
consider before trying to arrest a bail bond fugitive in terms of civil
and criminal liability.
Where “Bail Enforcement Agents: Use Of Force” left off, I pick up with
arrest & control techniques and the use of restraints in the DVD “Modern
Bounty Hunting: Street Proven.” You have to get close to a bail fugitive,
often while carrying a loaded firearm, so you had better know what you’re
doing before trying to place the handcuffs on.
Each of the above mentioned titles all have one thing in common: they are
designed to help you make money by avoiding dangerous mistakes.
Let’s face it, how much money do you think you’ll make if you get civilly
sued, criminally charged, or routinely sit on one location for days on
end? Who ends up really paying if you get killed due to inadequate
training? This isn’t a game, folks.
Over the years, I have learned how to track, locate, identify, arrest and
transport bail bond fugitives with the least amount of up-front expenses.
This is a business, and one cannot survive by spending more money on a
case then it may worth.
I have closed nearly a thousand forfeited bail bond cases over the years,
and I installed information, gained by an incalculable number of hours on
the streets and in the courts, into the specialized, hand-made books and
DVDs mentioned above.
Anyone can place an inexpensive order and learn what I’m about through
literary or visual media before hitting the streets with me in search of a
bail fugitive. Think about it for a moment. Some people charge attendees
hundreds of dollars for a one to three day seminar without ever offering
any way of reading or seeing what exactly the instruction is based on
beforehand. Seriously now, all one sees is a web site making claims, but
what are you really seeing? Click on “See Rex In Action” on the Main Page
of this site, and, if you have the right program installed, you can
literally catch a glimpse of me on the streets, training, and walking with
an arrested bail fugitive.
You may hear that very few bail fugitives resist arrest (which is true in
my experience), but how does that difficult to verify statistic justify
not offering bail enforcement tactical training? What about the bail
fugitives like the one described in the first paragraph? How is a
classroom based or an on-line seminar going to help you prepare for a
dangerous bail fugitive like that one?
You may not be able to apprentice with me or undergo my bail street
training in California at this time, but you can get a jump on your local
competition by quickly learning what took me decades of trial and error to
figure out the hard way.
If one sentence or one minute from any one of my books or DVDS provides
you with the critical information necessary to go home when the job is
done then I’ll have done my job in passing on what I’ve learned to the
next generation of bounty hunters.

"I have worked with many different, successful Bail Fugitive Recovery
Agents in my career, and Mr. Venator has demonstrated real world Street
Training while working real cases! Mr. Venator is adamant about agent
safety both physically and legally, and I bear first hand witness that he
practices what he preaches. I've learned more in 72-hours working real
cases than I could ever learn from a lecture based seminar. The best part
is that I was able to sample Mr. Venator's instruction methods and
theories with his books and DVD training videos before committing to his
new Street Training program. After studying with Mr. Venator, my bail
enforcement knowledge has vastly widened, and I am now working my own
cases with a new arsenal of street tools. I'm proud to call Mr. Venator an
invaluable consultant and friend!"

"I would like anyone reading this to know one thing. Rex knows this
business! I've had the distinct pleasure of apprenticing with, and
working side by side with Rex. I can definitely say from first hand
experience that when it comes to working all aspects of a bail recovery
case Rex's knowledge is unparalleled, especially when it comes to the
legal aspects of avoiding liability. When it comes to being tactical in
the field, well let's just say that I wouldn't hesitate to clear a house
with Rex as my partner.
With the knowledge I gained through working with Rex I was able to land
a position as a full time bail investigator with a major bail agency
here in California. If it hadn't been for my association with Rex I
wouldn't have had the success I've had so far in the fugitive recovery
business. In just four months I've successfully closed out over 50 cases
and I've saved my company over a half million dollars in liability. So
far, not one of my cases has gone into summary judgement, and I've kept
myself free from liability as well. And that all comes from the basics
that I learned about this business while working cases with Rex.
What does this mean to you? Well, if you are visiting Rex's website and
reading this now, then you obviously have an interest in the fugitive
recovery business, and if that's the case then all I can say is....buy
Rex's products! They'll be a virtual goldmine for you!
Thanks Rex!"
Sincerely,
Sam James
"I have just finished watching (For the 4th time) Rex's newest DVD titled
USE OF FORCE. This is a must for anyone already in the business now or
anyone thinking about getting in the business. I have been in business for
myself going on year number 17 and am still impressed by the things that
Rex brings to light on a new way to do business. Rex once again my hat is
off to you and your crew. I wished i lived closer to California as i would
so enjoy to be able to follow you and your crew around awhile. You keep on
and you will be a famous movie star. You are one of the top ranked BEA's
in the country. It seems you are tireless in your quest for knowledge in
our business, but as you grow you still find the time to talk to all of us
be us old or new to the business. You are much appreciated."

"As a law enforcement veteran, I wanted to do things right. After
undergoing Rex's street training, I am now actively working numerous cases
using techniques that Rex showed me on the job. If Rex needs me, I'll be
there."

"I have been working in the emergency services for over 15 years, and I
decided to try Rex's street training. I've taken classes, and I'm here to
say that I learned more in 24-hours with Rex than I ever could in 100
classes! I am now on Rex's team and expect to be for a long time."

"Working with rex has been a valuable experience in my career as a
recovery agent. Never has an agent with such liability free experience
given so much back to those in the fugitive recovery industry and to those
looking to start a career as a recovery agent. Working the streets with
rex is a must for anyone looking to gain a higher level of professionalism
no matter what their length in time in this industry has been."
